It is more or less the weekend here in Jenworld. Graceful and Elegant do not have school today and I suspect that neither Pete nor I will be all that productive at work. Well, maybe he will, but I’m already planning to put in only a couple of hours this morning and then call it a day.
Much fun and relaxation is planned for the next few days.
Today, after my short stint as a gainfully-employed adult, the girls and I are going to run a few errands and then go pick up our man at his office for a lunch date. Later, we’re getting together with some friends down the street to play for a bit. A quiet evening at home in our pajamas is the order for tonight.
Tomorrow, Graceful has soccer in the morning and that’s about as much energy as any of us will burn off. We aren’t going to tackle any major yard or house projects and probably not any minor ones either. We’re having dinner with dear friends at their house, so I don’t even need to cook or clean.
Tomorrow night, well, we all know what happens tomorrow night after children go to sleep.
Sunday morning should be fairly leisurely once we get past the usual waking-the-parents-at-dawn and ravaging the Easter baskets. We’re driving to my brother and sister-in-law’s house for lunch, which should be wonderful in so many ways. Lots of family, great food, and also the celebration of the Boy’s first birthday (Monday).
I don’t know if I’ll post over the weekend, but I can promise that I’ll put up lots of photos on Monday.
I encourage you to go over to Eco Women today and read the amazing tribute that Green Girl wrote about Alice Waters, Eco Goddess Extraordinaire.
I leave you now with a few photos from Easters past in Jenworld. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and encourage you to leave a comment letting me know your own plans.
Peace.

2002 — Elegant was about 18 months. We were at a party and Elegant was not at all sure she liked the Easter Bunny that was making the rounds.
