Now that the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is over, it’s time to start organizing the Holiday Homes Tour!
The big day is Monday, December 22.
Show us your favorite part of the holidays at your domicile. Do you have a ginormous tree or a petite one? Will you show us the stockings hung by the chimney with care or do you hang them on a bookshelf? Do you decorate with glitter and gilt or are you into pine cones and items from nature? Or, if you don’t decorate your home, are there decorations nearby that make you smile?
All you have to do is leave a comment here by Friday, December 19 telling me that you are participating. Please also leave your blog URL in the body of the comment so that I can easily cut and paste.
The photos in this post are a couple of sneak peeks from our preliminary run at decorating Jenworld this weekend. We have everything done but the tree, which we’ll take care of this coming weekend, when we’ll trek to a nearby tree farm into the vast wilds of Virginia and spend 15 minutes hours seeking the perfect specimen.

I don’t do much decorating, but I’ll take pics of what I do.
Thought I was already in. Apparently not. Three words though, Lower the Bar People (OK four words). Mine will be the Christmas decorating of the woman who just dropped $850 on snow tires and rims… Think budget.
