As much as I hate them, I think they are good because it forces a greater consciousness about the real problems of oil.

Bad for me; good for everyone else who wasn’t already mindful about the earth’s limited supply of petroleum. (Why can’t our automobiles run on sugar, like our children?)
Except I feel sorry for the people who face long, and now incredibly expensive commutes.
